Alan’s Story
Alan is a handkerchief full of finesse, with light and airy patterns, named after Alan Menken, famous composer of “Colors of the wind,” the theme song of Pocahontas. This elegant handkerchief will soften the cold autumn wind, and will fit perfectly in your pockets when you travel. After all, it’s not only Pocahontas who has the right to taste “the thousand colours of the wind”!
Backstage with Alan
Alan, with his silky viscose dress adorned with a pattern reminiscent of wheat flying in the soft spring wind, offers elegance, poetry and absorption to your everyday life. The handkerchief is lined with a natural cotton sateen in ecru, so soft that we dream of burying our nose in it. On the front, its stitching is pink, and on the back it matches the fabric. Like all our handkerchiefs, this one is made with love in our little Montreal workshop!
Caring for Alan
I recommend washing this hanky in cold or warm water and air drying it. This way, it will last a long time and remain pretty, despite the use and the passing of time!
One Alan hanky in your pocket = one more tree on earth!
Absolutely! For each handkerchief you choose to take home with you, TSHU commits to planting a tree.
