Introducing the Best Sweat Absorbing Handkerchiefs!

Why do we sweat so much?

Although some cases are linked to underlying health conditions, such as diabetes, an overactive thyroid gland, menopause or obesity - many are due to no apparent cause. How to deal with excessive sweating

If you feel that you sweat excessively, the best course of action is always to talk it over with your doctor! There are several treatments available on the market including medication and surgery, so it’s definitely worth looking into if you feel that your condition is negatively impacting your life.

On another note, there are many natural remedies and simple measures that are less invasive and which you can consider trying out to see if they help. 

Choose your clothing wisely!

Synthetic fabrics tend to worsen sweating… On top of increasing unwanted body odour! Opt for natural fibers (no blends!) when you can and choose loose-fitting clothing that’s breathable when possible.

If you sweat excessively from your armpits, I recently discovered Oréole, a brand that makes sweat and stain-resistant undershirts and t-shirts, as well as socks and briefs for men. Their products are made from micro modal (a fabric fashioned from wood cellulose).

Consider making changes to your diet

There are a few simple things that can go a long way to help reduce excessive sweating, such as:

• Drinking more water
• Drinking less coffee and alcohol
• Avoiding junk food and eating more veggies
