11 things you asked for this year

Before saying “goodbye�? to 2022, I wanted to share with you a few new things on the online store! And you know what? These new options and initiatives were all born out of conversations I had with you this year. 

Thank you for continuing to share your dreams and ideas with me, thank you for encouraging me to do better and do more! It is thanks to these chats that TSHU is now an increasingly important part of my life and for that, I am very, very grateful… Because I LOVE what I do!

#1 Kate, a black and white spotted handkerchief

Let’s start with one of my favourite items: the black and white spotted handkerchief! Made with ultra-soft and silky organic cotton sateen, this fun handkerchief is timeless.

I named it Kate, after Princess Kate, who wears beautiful polka dot dresses so well (and often)!

The black and white polka dot cotton sateen is printed on one side only. Thus, the back side of this pretty handkerchief is completely black. The handkerchief is adorned with a black rolled hem that is understated and designed to last.

#2 A rolled hem or topstitching in your fave colour on various styles

Many of you wrote to me to ask if it would be possible to have your favourite handkerchief with a rolled finish in a colour other than our classic red, so I thought it would be nice to offer you the option directly on the shop! 

So now you can choose our EXTRA - Custom finish option and for a small extra charge, I will custom make your favourite handkerchief with any colour thread you want. 

To help you choose, I’ve included a picture of the different thread colours available to you in the option’s photos!

#3. Ken and Lucile in single ply

You may already be familiar with our KEN and LUCILE winter handkerchiefs, but now they’re available in a single-ply version, with a rolled finish to match their cheerful snowflake pattern!

I love them because I think they’re festive—and they’re very, very soft on the nose.

#4. More size options for our popular styles

I started offering a variation of sizes in several patterns this summer—and I see that many of you are enjoying it! 

So I decided to expand the idea and offer more of our most popular handkerchiefs in these 4 convenient sizes:

• Small: 20 × 20 cm
• Standard: 28 × 28 cm
• Large: 34 × 34 cm
• Extra large: 40 × 40 cm

Thus, it is now possible to buy the following hankies in all sizes.

#5. Embroidery options—words AND new fonts

Two embroidery options were already available on the online store: monogram and first name embroidery! 

But many have asked me if it would be possible to have handkerchiefs embroidered with a personalized message, longer names or a few words. Well, it is now an option!

I also now offer a wider variety of fonts for embroidery! Instead of the 3 basic fonts: Bold, Modern and Cursive, there are now 14 options available to you! These can be found in the product photos. Simply share your instructions with me in the purchase note when you check out.

#6. Louise, in organic poplin

Our beautiful navy handkerchief LOUISE is very popular in its two-ply version, but it is now also available in a single ply version in all 4 sizes offered on the shop!

Louise now has a discrete tone-on-tone rolled finish. An everyday classic you won’t be able to live without.

#7. A new colour of reusable kitchen towels

I love the colour taupe, because it’s neutral, but warm at the same time. That’s why I wanted to add a new style of cloth towels in this colour!

Made with organic cotton flannel and ined with oeko-tex certified microfleece, this lovely sheet of washable kitchen roll wraps around a paper towel holder without snaps, since the sheets naturally stick together. They can also be stored in a drawer, folded in four.

#8. A denim handkerchief holder, available in several sizes

Our hanky holders have been very popular since their launch, but I’ve been asked for different sizes to accommodate our large and extra large tissues. Here they are, along with a new style of handkerchief case!

#9. A new Esmeralda in ultra-soft cotton lawn

This year, I discovered an incredibly fine and soft organic cotton lawn… And I couldn’t resist. So I’m offering you a brand new emerald green handkerchief in large format.

#10. Sets of our reusable makeup pads

So, so soft, super absorbent and reusable, our makeup remover wipes are gaining in popularity! 

There was only one thing missing: the possibility to buy them in batches, at a lower cost. Well, it is now possible! 

Choose from the following options:

• One wipe per unit
• Pack of 3 wipes
• A pack of 6 wipes
• A pack of 9 wipes
• A pack of 12 wipes

#11: Our JAMES handkerchief in single ply, too!

JAMES, our thick, silky white handkerchief, has been one of our most popular styles for years. But recently, I’ve been asked several times for a single-ply version - to get the same look on a thinner, lighter handkerchief. So our beautiful JAMES is now available in single ply in the online store!
